Wedding Bells

Luzanne (Baggs) Pierce's son Richard was married to Kathy Taylor on September 3rd, 2006.

That Old Gang of Mine

In late August of 2006 some old friends got together at Cathie (Tort) Kane's house on the bay in Ocean City. Above are Lynn (Gallagher) Silton, Cathie (Tort) Kane & Judy (Amole) Schwartz. Also attending was Nancy (Shute) Gersh who left before the pic was taken.

It's All Greek to Me!

A '58'er Visits China in June of 2006

Steffi (Friss) Kay and her hubby, Lee Rosky, at the Great Wall of China in the pouring rain --- the only day it rained their whole 3 weeks there!

An officially rated 4 star toilet! This sure beat the holes in the ground. This one came equipped with toilet paper and a seat!

The Terra Cotta Warriors in Xi'An--an unbelievable find by a farmer --- there are hundreds of them which they are in the process of reconstructing. Built by the emperor to guard his tomb.

On June 16, '06, a week before Countdown 3, Skip Mayall, Judy Reilly and Jane & Ed Doughty warm up for the big weekend with dinner on the deck at Caroline's in Somers Point.

A '58'er Meets the Governor

The above picture was taken at the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey (AAHM). At a recent visit to the area Gov. Jon S. Corzine stopped by to visit the museum and was briefed on the museum's activities and offerings. The museum is located in Newtonville. Captured in the photo from left to right is Walter McClister a local genealogist, Charles Garret a (AAHM Executive board member), Ellis Peopples (AAHM executive board Member), NJ Gov. Jon S. Corzine and Ralph Hunter (President and Founder of the Museum). The museum has a mobile component that has visited over 50 schools in the state this year. It also supports a credit course at the museum with Stockton State College

A Son Graduates

Bob Erney's son just graduated from Rowan Engineering & will start Penn State Engineering in August. Here is the son, Bob, Jr. & his proud father.

This guy has been sitting in a bar for awhile, staring at a girl wearing the tightest pants he's ever seen.

After a few drinks his curiosity finally gets the best of him, so he walks over and asks: "How do you even get into those pants?"

The young woman looks him over and replies: "Well, you could start by buying me a drink..."

A Son's Wedding

I am in the middle, of course, in front is my son Rob and the new Katie Hyman. From left is Myra Stalberg Cohen (ACHS '58), my brother Barry (class of '65) Allan Cohen (Class of '56), my step-son Mark Hyman, Class of '58, my future daughter-in-law Judy and my older son Greg, and to my left Mark's lovely daughter Katherine. So ACHS was well represented. They were married on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Sea and we all took a three day cruise. Much enjoyed.
