Chick's Grandkids & Family

Chick Lehrer: "I have three grandkids, all the production of my son PJ and his wife Mo-eh Ito. Of my other three kids Chaz, Angie and Phil, only Chaz married, but he and his wife Cheryle do not have kids since they got hitched so late in life.   So here are my grandkids:

Tony (above) who was born with an extremely rare condition known as Wolf-Hirshhorn Syndrome (after the 2 doctors who discovered it). There are less than 100 survivors in the entire world. Tony is 10 in this photo. He can see and hear perfectly and has recently learned how to walk, but he cannot speak, or eat (he is fed directly through a connection into his stomach by a machine seen just in back of him) and his cognition is greatly impaired. All of this is a result of his 4-p chromosome which was badly damaged at conception. He is fully cared for by the state of Maryland insofar as his education (year-round) and medical concerns."

Then there are the twins: the very demure Midori Matacia above                  and her sister: the extremely outgoing Willow Yuuna, seen

here with her dad, PJ, my youngest son.
